A lovely Mid Century "Oil Derrick" martini pitcher, two small old-fashioned glasses, and glass stirring wand set by Lotus. This pattern features a deep black "Oil Derrick" pattern with a subtle gold line on the top and a thicker gold band on the base. This pitcher comes with a heavy glass stirring wand and the pitcher itself is surprisingly heavy in weight for its size. small old-fashioned glasses are simply lovely and feature Gold bases and subtle gold rims. Truly a stunning Mid Century set.

This set comes with 4 pieces: 1 pitcher, 1 wand, and 2 small glasses

We'll be listing another set in this pattern soon that includes a heavy glass ice bucket and 4 slightly larger old-fashioned glasses.

We also have several sets of the taller glasses, if you'd like more of this pattern. See other listings. Cheers.

Maker: Lotus -- many (including us in the past) attribute this pattern to Culver. It was actually made by a company called Lotus in the 1960s. Culver did, however, make an opaque black pattern that included gold Oil Rigs. But this pattern in the listing was made by Lotus. Similar to Culver in that they used real 22k gold in their pattern.

Hallmarks: You can find the original gold foil sticker on the bottom exterior of the pitcher (see photo)

Measurements: The pitcher measures 6 1/4" tall; the glass wand measures 8" in length; the glasses measure a tad under 2 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" in diameter -- again, please note: these are the smaller in size old-fashioned glasses, not the medium or larger size that Lotus also made in this glassware shape.

Condition: Good condition overall with mild age. There's some mild gold loss on the bases of the two glasses. The glass clarity on all pieces is perfectly clear, no cloudiness. The gold is vibrant overall, beyond some mild loss on the two glasses.. Truly a lovely set. Cheers!

Please note: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, or a "seam" from when the glass was being created, an extra spot of gold or enamel that made it on a clear part of the glass, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage. Cheers!
