A stunning Mid Century Modern shot glasses caddy set. We believe this pattern is Anchor Hocking (although we've seen it listed as both Culver and Libbey; it's also very similar to Georges Briard's "Regalia" pattern). This set includes a set of 8 shot glasses and a gold metal caddy. The pattern features a stunning "Crown and Shields" pattern that's against a solid black backing on one side and a clear backing on the other side (see photo #2 for reference). Truly a breath-taking set that screams Mid Century Hollywood Regency style.

Maker: We believe this pattern is Anchor Hocking Era: Mid Century A quick summary on Anchor Hocking: Anchor Hocking started its operations in 1905 in Lancaster, Ohio. Their glassware has a distinguished hallmark of a capital H overlaying the outline of an anchor. During the Great Depression, Anchor Hocking created a revolutionary machine that raised production rates from 1 item per minute to over 30 items per minute. This allowed the company to sell tumblers "two for a nickel" and survive the depression when so many other companies vanished. Known for many popular glassware patterns including Arrows and Spires and a number of Atomic style patterns, Anchor Hocking is still creating glassware in the U.S. today. Hallmarks: These shot glasses do not bare any hallmarks

Measurements: Each shot glass measures approx. 2 1/4" tall x 2" in diameter; the caddy measures just shy of 9" in length x 8" tall x 4" in width

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. *Please note: one of the glasses has a hairline crack in it (it's so minimal it's nearly impossible to see, nor does it "leak" -- we tested it thoroughly with liquid, filled to the very brim -- see photos #6 and #7). Beyond that, all shot glasses are in very good condition. The glass clarity is clear. The pattern is vibrant. The gold metal caddy is also in very good condition overall showing very minimal signs of age/wear. In short, this set has ONE shot glass that has a hairline crack in it (again, PLEASE see photos #6 and #7). It displays beautifully. Truly a stunning set.
