A lovely miniature silver-plated cocktail shaker/bakelite picks set, 1940s. Very similar to P.H. Vogel & Co.but this set is unmarked.This mini set mimics a miniature cocktail shaker that reveals a set of cocktail picks inside. The cocktail finials are a deep burgundy red and the silver-plated picks feature pronged tips and rest inside a stand that can be removed from the miniature cocktail shaker. Truly a magical set. Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age. We like to be thorough, so here's a full condition/summary:
1) The silver-plating is vibrant overall but there are two small age spots to/through the silver-plating (one on the side of the Shaker and one on the top cap/edge) -- see photos
2) The Bakelite is in good shape overall but does show minor age that comes purely from time
3) There's what we refer to as surface wear to the exterior of the mini shaker from past handling, how it might have been stored, etc.
In short, this vintage set is in good vintage condition with mild signs of age. It has a magical feel to it.
Measurements: The picks measures approx 3 1/2" in length; the shaker measures a tad over 4 3/4" tall
