A lovely miniature silver-plated cocktail shaker/cherry picks set by P.H. Vogel & Co. 1940s. The finials are a vibrant, bold red and the silver-plated picks feature pronged tips and rest inside a stand that can be removed from the miniature cocktail shaker. Truly a magical set. Cheers.
Hallmarks: "P.H.V & Co. E.P.N.S Made in England" can be found on the bottom of the miniature shaker/holder.
Condition: Very, very good vintage condition with mild signs of age. We like to be thorough, so here's a full condition/summary:
1) There's what we refer to as mild "general surface wear" to the silver-plating that can include micro fine scratches, scrapes, and scuffs (i.e. from past handling, storage, etc)
2) There's a micro tiny ding, in fact we don't believe it's a ding but possibly a manufacturing occurrence on the very bottom edge. It's very, very subtle but we like to be thorough
3) There's general "age" to the exterior that can occur from use, handling, or purely from time (this piece/set is 80 years old)
4) There's mild age/tarnish to the very bottom interior of the miniature shaker (see photo) as well as a few small spots of tarnish to the under/interior of the shaker's lid
The cherry finials are in very good shape. In short, this vintage set is in very good vintage condition with mild signs of age. It displays beautifully. Cheers.
Measurements: The picks measures approx 3 1/2" in length; the shaker measures a tad over 4" tall
