A gorgeous pair of vintage Napier One-Finger and Two-Fingers. These jiggers have a ton of patina, which is what makes them so magical. Personally, we're "team patina" as its like a personal fingerprint on a vintage item that's taken years to create. These antique jiggers truly are magical. One finger indicates 1 ounce, two fingers for 2 ounces. It also has the number 1 etched into the jigger to show exactly wear the 1 ounce marker is when pouring and the two-fingered jigger has both a 1 and 2 oz marker. Napier started making this particular jigger in the late 40s and continued this design through the late 50s.

A quick bit of history on Napier: The Napier Company was named after its president, James H. Napier, who led the company from 1920 to 1960. But the company's history can be tracked back to 1875 when it was founded as Whitney and Rice in Attleboro, Mass., manufacturing silver products. The firm changed hands and name in 1882 and became Carpenter and Bliss and shortly thereafter, E.A. Bliss and Co., Inc. After rapid expansion in the late 1880s the company moved to Meriden, CT in 1890. After WWI, the firm shifted emphasis from silver products to production of modern jewelry. James Napier became president in 1920 and the company adopted the name Napier - Bliss Co. In 1922, the name was changed to Napier Company. Like many jewelry companies Napier got into lines of art objects and other utilitarian objects like cocktail shakers. In the early to mid 1930s they started producing several cocktail shakers (most notably the "Dial a Drink shaker" and the Rooster motif shaker) other pieces of barware including their well-known graduated/stepped jigger, the mechanical/valve jigger, and their one-finger and two-fingers jiggers.

Hallmarks: "Napier" can be found in tiny letters on the bottom of each jigger

Measurements: The two-finger jigger is just over 2 1/4" tall from bottom to the tip of the pointing finger, the one-finger jigger is 1 1/4" tall.

Condition: Good vintage condition with obvious signs of age including a ton of patina and tarnish that will likely not polish away. If you're looking for a set that's a vibrant silver (no tarnish, patina, etc) please see our other listings. Both jiggers are in great shape in terms of straight "fingers" and round rims, and zero dents or dings. The two-finger jigger has slightly more wear to the interior bottom than the one-finger (see photos for reference). In short, these jiggers are in good condition but have a ton of tarnish and patina and general age/surface wear inline with pieces that are 70+ years old. Truly a lovely set.

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
