A rare cocktail shaker by Landers Frary & Clark, circa 1940s. Both the lid and cap still have its original cork. An unusual shaker, the cap "screws" on and off. Extremely heavy in weight.

A bit about the maker: Landers, Frary, and Clark Company of New Britain, CT. Landry, Frary and Clark was a major producer of house hold products from their inception in 1862 until their assets were acquired by General Electric in 1965. They made a variety of well-crafted items from cutlery to ice skates to cookwear.

Measurements: Approx 10" tall Hallmarks: "Universal Landers Frary & Clark, New Britian, Conn, Made in USA" can be found on the bottom of the shaker.

Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of age/wear, specifically to the pewter. It's turned a lovely light "gold" color. The interior cork is in excellent shape and completely in tact. There's one ding on the left side of the shaker's upper area (see photos for reference). Both the lid and spout cap screw/unscrew perfectly and tightly. Truly a neat and unusual shaker that displays beautifully. Cheers.

**Please Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers!

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
