A gorgeous pair of antique Art Deco claw tongs. Both pairs are silver-plated (one is EPNS which stands for electro-plated nickel silver and the nickel in the metal gives them a subtle "gold" appearance). These tongs are downright stunning. The detailing and texture of the "claw" tips is exquisite. The slightly smaller pair that has a subtle gold tone (due to the nickel in the metal) has a gorgeous Art Deco triple lined pattern along the handles and textured "feathers" on the claw tips. The larger pair also has an Art Deco pattern on the handle (see photo #3 for a close up) as well as etched lines on the claw tips and a feather-line textured design on the upper portion of the claws. Truly a stunning set of tongs. Maker: Unknown (these were purchased from an auction and are originally from England)

Hallmarks: The smaller pair has the letters EPNS embossed in tiny letters in the inside of the tong handle; the larger pair doesn't bare any hallmarks.

Condition: Both tongs are in very good condition with some mild tarnish and patina. Zero nicks, scratches, or dents.

Measurements: the larger pair measures approx 4 1/2" in length; the other pair measures a tad over 3 3/4" in length. These gorgeous tongs would undoubtedly be a stunning way to serve ice or appetizers at your next party and/or for food styling/photography. We're selling a number of other antique tongs as well. Please see other listings. Cheers!
