A stunning sterling silver double ended jigger by John Hasselbring, 1930s. This jigger features a double jigger (a smaller size and slightly larger size) and a chunky squared handle. Truly a magical antique bar tool that displays beautifully.
Maker: John Hasselbring
Hallmarks: "JH" and "sterling" can be found on the upper part of the handle (see photo for reference).
Measurements: Approx. 5" tall and 4" wide (measured from jigger end to jigger end) / weighs 72 grams
Condition: Good condition overall but with mild signs of age. As sterling is a softer material, there are a few very shallow dings on both ends of the jigger as well as general "age" to the sterling silver. We like to be thorough so here's a full summary:
1) The smaller jigger end has two tiny dings (the size of a pinhead)
2) The larger jigger end has three small dings
3) There's a mild "splotchiness" to some areas of the sterling silver that we are unsure will polish away
4) The handle shows what we refer to as general surface wear (from past handling, etc).
Overall, this antique jigger is in good vintage condition for 110 years old but does show signs of age and wear and minor dings. Truly a gorgeous antique piece.
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery. If you buy multiple pieces/sets, we will combine shipping if possible (glassware sets typically ship in their own box to ensure safe arrival) and will reimburse you for any shipping overages. Please note: this vintage piece will be shipped with a "required signature" to ensure that it was received.
****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage.
