A gorgeous vintage Sterling Silver jigger by Wallace. This figural jigger mimics a "cup" with a handle and has etched lines to ensure the perfect measure including: 2 oz, 1 1/2 oz, 1 oz, 1/2 oz. Simply pour your spirits to the amount "line" you desire. Truly a magical figural jigger.

A little bit about this maker: Robert Wallace began his career as an apprentice for Meriden Brittania Company in Connecticut, then one of the preeminent silver makers in Northeast America. In 1833, Wallace left Meriden Brittania to start his own firm, specializing just in spoons. It wasn't until 1875 that Wallace, then 60 years old, introduced the first Wallace sterling silver flatware lines: Hawthorne, The Crown, and St. Leon. The company was then known as R. Wallace and Sons Manufacturing Company. 1986, Syratech acquired Katy Industries and moved Wallace to East Boston, near the original seat of American silver design and manufacturing.

Measurements: A tad over 1 1/4" tall x 2" in diameter

Hallmarks: "Wallace Sterling H 100" can be found on the bottom of the jigger and "Sterling H 100" along with 3 round hallmarks can be found inside the handle

Condition: Very, very good vintage condition. This jigger has minimal/general signs of surface wear (i.e. to the bottom of the jigger) but is is very, very, very good condition overall. When looking down inside the jigger there appears to be a very shallow ding the size of a pinhead, but when looking at the bottom of the jigger, there's no trace of it. Likely a manufacturing thing but we like to be thorough in our Condition Summaries. There's extremely, extremely minimal surface wear and this piece could use a light polishing but we leave that up to the buyer as some are particular about as is condition. Cheers.

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery.
