A stunning set of 6 sterling silver Art Deco rooster cocktail / olive picks, in their original box, 1920s. It doesn't get any more stunning than this set! The detailing and texture of these picks (from the rooster's feathers to the beak). The hard-sided case features a white silk and black velvet interior with a brass clasp. Truly a breath-taking set that has a magical feel to it.
Condition: Good vintage condition overall with signs of age. The picks are in great shape. There's mild tarnish (we have not polished them). The case, however, shows quite a bit of age, mostly to the silk interior; there's yellowing that cloth can get over the course of decades as well as some noticeable staining. The brass clasp works perfectly. In short, this set of picks is in good vintage condition overall with noticeable signs of age to the interior of the case.
Hallmarks: "Sterling England" can be found on one side of the lower spear and a series of British hallmarks can be found on the other side (see last two photos). The interior of the box is hallmarked "Robinson & Co Ltd Singapore and Kaula Lumpur" in gold lettering
Measurements: Each pick measures approx 3 1/4" in length
