A lovely Sterling Silver mixing/stirring spoon with a large ball finial, circa 1940s. This spoon measures just shy of 11" in length (10 3/4") and features a large ball finial. The stem is "ribbed". It has a nice weighted feel to it. The clean, sleek design is simply stunning. Truly a stunning bar spoon.
Measurements: 10 3/4" in length (and this spoon weighs 44 grams)
Hallmarks: "Sterling" can be found in micro tiny lettering on the stem (see photo)
Condition: Good vintage condition overall with mild signs of age. There's mild tarnish and mild age that comes purely from time. There's what we refer to as mild "surface wear" on the ball finial as well as the spoon bed (that can include micro fine scrapes, etc) from past handling, etc. In short, this mixing spoon is in good condition with mild age. It displays beautifully.
