A stunning set of 6 vintage Sterling Silver cocktail demi (demitasse) cocktail spoons, Asian themed. Circa 1940s. These spoons feature a "bamboo" design stem and various Asian finials. The spoon beds are simply lovely and have a scalloped edging and a subtle floral embossing in the middle of each spoon. They come in their original hard-sided box that has a navy velvet interior and brass hinges (that allow the lid to slide on/off. Truly a stunning figural set.
Condition: Very good vintage condition but with signs of age. The spoons show very mild tarnish (we have not polished them) but are all in good shape and don't appear to have gotten much (if any) use. Beyond mild age, the box exterior is in good condition. There's a scraped area to the interior of the box (likely where the original sticker might have been). The hinges are secure and work well/tightly. Truly a love set.
