When not in use, gently push the ball back into the stem and the swizzler will return to a stirrer. The navy cloth bag features lighter blue stitching accents and a snap closure. Truly a stunning set. Here's a full summary:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e1) All swizzle sticks work perfectly\/properly but please note: they take some time to pull in and out so you don't bend the main middle string\/ball (purely the nature of this type of swizzle sticks that's 85 years old) -- we've left the balls pulled out slightly so the buyer can easily grab and open each one.\u003cbr\u003e2) There's mild tarnish to all the finials (we have not polished this set) that the buyer can polish away if they choose to.\u003cbr\u003e3) The cloth bag shows minor age including two spots of wear to the blue stitching that's come unraveled (on area on the left side and a tiny area on the corner of the right side) as well as some mild smudge stains to the interior that can likely we easily cleaned up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall, this set is in good condition with mild tarnish and age.
