A stunning set of 6 sterling silver Art Deco rooster cocktail / olive picks, in their original box, 1920s. It doesn't get any more stunning than this set. The detailing and texture of these picks (from the rooster's feathers to the beak) is simply incredible. The case features a black velvet and white silk interior lining and a brass clasp. Truly a breath-taking Art Deco set that has a magical feel to it.
Please note: these picks are not hallmarked for sterling but tested positive for sterling silver.
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with the box showing age/wear. The picks are all straight. There's mild tarnish on a few of the rooster finials as well as some of the stems. The box is in good condition overall but does show age in line with the age of the box (80+ years old) that includes wear to the exterior corners as well as scrapes and scratches. The clasp works perfectly. In short, this set of picks is in very good vintage condition overall with mild age to the box.
Hallmarks: Each pick has two very tiny circular hallmarks on the back upper stem. The larger circle has what resembles an "E" or an "M" (depending on which way you turn the pick).
Measurements: Each pick measures a tad over 3" in length
