An unsual set of diamond-shaped cocktail picks, in their original velvet-lined box. We've been selling barware for years and have never run across a set like this. We're unsure of the stone (faux pearl, perhaps) -- it has a mother-of-pearl look with a stunning swirl of multiple colors, diamond-shaped. The finials sit on top of a square that swivels (can be around) and the body of the picks is thicker at the top and tapers to a fine point at the bottom. Silver-plated. The box has a hard-sided exterior that's a vibrant red with gold trim and the interior is made of of silk and velvet. There are 6 picks in this set. Truly a stunning and unusual set.

Hallmarks: The interior silk lining of the box says: "Cutlass, Leppington (Cutlers) Ltd, Sheffield, England" and the picks (on the underside of the section that swivels) says: "Leppington England" (see photo). Condition: Good vintage condition with mild signs of age (purely age and not from use, these appear to have been stored away for years). The box's exterior shows signs of age and wear including wear around the corners and a darker spot on the front lower right hand corner. The push button that opens/closes the box works perfectly. The picks are in good condition overall but please note: these picks were hand-crafted and show imperfections: a few of the finials show tiny "groves" and the tops of some of the diamonds aren't perfect points as these finials were made in molds. Truly a stunning set.

Measurements: The picks measure 2 3/4" in length; the box/case measures 6" x 7 1/2" Cheers!
