A stunning pewter antique purse flask by James Dixon & Sons. This flask is smaller in size (created to fit easily into a small area such as a purse or a boot). Early 1940s this flask features heavily embossed or "raised" pattern of roses and leaves. Truly a breath-taking piece that has a magical feel to it. The lid screws on/off. Surprisingly heavy in weight for its small size. The "raised" rose/floral pattern has a 3-D feel to it. Truly a breath-taking antique piece.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age/general wear. The pewter is vibrant and in great shape. No dents or dings. There's very minor surface wear on the bottom of the flask. Overall, this piece is in very good vintage condition and displays beautifully.

**Please Note: we typically do not test our flasks for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage flasks (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our flasks through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular flask. Cheers!

Hallmarks: "James Dixon & Sons" along with their company logo (a bugel/horn) and "Cornish Pewter" and "Sheffield England".

Measurements: Just under 5" tall x 2 3/4" wide -- again, please note: this is a SMALL flask, often referred to as a purse flask. If you're looking for larger flasks, please see our other listings! Cheers!

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. If purchasing multiple pieces, we'll combine shipping to a single box (or as few boxes as possible) and will automatically reimburse you for all shipping overages paid.

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage. Cheers!
