A lovely set of 8 Art Deco-esque silver-plated muddlers, 1940s, still in their original red velvet interior box. These silver-plated muddlers are simply lovely and feature a round muddler end (for muddling), with a cut-out pattern. The stems have a ball finial. These are well-crafted and have a weighted feel to them. The photos don't capture their magical factor. Truly a lovely set.

A popular drink in the 1920s and 30s was the Old-Fashioned cocktail which consisted of whiskey, water, sugar, bitters and a slice of orange. The contents were "muddled" in a glass. The muddler was often left in the old-fashioned glass and served. So why not serve your cocktails in elegance and style with these stunning Art Deco muddler spoons? Cheers.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, they appear to be NOS (new old stock) as they're still in their original box. There's mild tarnish (we have not polished them) but overall excellent condition. The box is also in credible condition for its age (there's one darker spot on the front of the box (see photo). In short, these muddlers are in very, very good vintage condition. Truly a lovely set. Cheers!

Hallmarks: No hallmarks can be found on the muddlers; the box is hallmarked: Schonenberg No. 157/6 (Schönenberg is a municipality in the district of Lörrach in Baden-Württemberg in Germany)

Measurements: Approx. 6 1/4" in length
