A stunning silver-plated antique Art Deco flask that's etched with the word "Several" along with four embossed "Swallow" birds, meaning "Several Swallows" (of dram or whiskey). No words can express how lovely this piece is. It has a magical feel to it. This flask, circa 1920s, features four raised Swallow birds that have the most incredible detailing. The etched word "Several" is in a lovely font with ornate etching around it. The cap is a "bayonet" style cap that is attached and works via a hinge. The cap still has the original cork inside of it. Truly a breath-taking piece.
Condition: Good vintage condition with a few signs of age. We like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage pieces, so here's a full summary:
1) There's what we refer to as surface wear that includes microfine scrapes and scratches (from the way it was stored in the past or the way it was cleaned, etc)
2) This piece is silver-plated over brass and some of the gold brass is peeking through on one of the birds
3) There's general age that comes purely from time (in this case over 90 years)
4) The top exterior of the hinged cap shows very minor age and tarnish
In short, this Art Deco flask is in good condition with signs of age and general wear. Truly a stunning antique piece.
