A lovely silver-plated wine funnel, 1940s. This silver-plated funnel features grape/leaves handle and is extremely well-crafted, heavier in weight. There's a mesh strainer in the bottom interior of the funnel and a curved spout and the base is graduated (steps down). This piece is a true silver silver-plated tone; any gold "hue" you see is from our camera's flash. Truly a breath-taking piece.
Measurements: A tad over 6 1/4" tall
Hallmarks: None
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with mild/general signs of age including what we refer to as general surface wear (that comes purely from time, past handling, etc). There's also some mild tarnish (we have not polished this piece) including mild tarnish directly around the mesh area/bottom of the funnel. No dents or dings. It displays beautifully.
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. If purchasing multiple pieces, we'll combine shipping to a single box (or as few boxes as possible) and will automatically reimburse you for all shipping overages paid.
****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot except returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to except returns due to the risk of breakage.
