A lovely Sterling Silver "Only A Thimble Full" etched jigger, by Cartier, 1940s. This figural jigger has a solid, weighted feel to it. The dimpled texture is stunning and mimics a real life thimble. This jigger also features a "beading" detailing just below the rim. The font is also stunning and an Art Deco style.  Truly a magical figural jigger. 

A bit about this manufacturer: Founded in Paris by Louis-François Cartier in 1847, Cartier quickly expanding into jewelry design and attracting royal clients. Under the leadership of his grandson, Louis Cartier, the brand pioneered the mass-produced wristwatch. The brand expanded internationally through Louis's brothers, Pierre and Jacques, before becoming the prestigious luxury house known for watches, jewelry, and royal patronage today, now part of the Richemont Group

Hallmarks: "Cartier" and Sterling" can be found in tiny letters just below the top rim of the jigger (see photo)

Etching: Only A Thimble Full 

Measurements:  Approx. 2" tall (weight 36 grams)

Condition: Very good vintage condition with very mild signs of age. There's general "age" that comes purely from time, as well as some mild tarnish (we have not polished this piece). In short, this jigger is in very good vintage condition with very mild signs of age and mild tarnish. Truly a magical figural jigger.
