The contents were \"muddled\" in a glass. The muddler was often left in the old-fashioned glass and served. The silver-plating is vibrant overall (there's tarnish the buyer can polish away, if they choose to). The Bakelite red ball tips are in excellent condition (no crazing or cracks) and are still shiny (sometimes Bakelite gets a \"matte\" look over the years as it ages, these finial tips are shiny and pristine). The box is in great vintage condition. The brass clasp closes perfectly.
