A stunning and extremely rare set of six (6) Culver jeweled "Texas" glasses. A scarce Culver pattern, each glass depicts the State of Texas on the front (with jewels and a faux pearl) and a Texas Star on the back (with a single jewel inside the star). Even more scarce is this style glass in this pattern. These are "skyball" or "zombie" glasses (taller in size at 7" tall). The picture don't do the vibrancy of the gold and jewels justice. Truly a stunning and rare pattern.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Culver comes in a variety of patterns including gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, wildlife, Egyptian or Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns, holiday designs, sports motifs and many others.

Hallmarks: Please note, this pattern was not signed. Culver didn't sign a number of their patterns and these glasses do not bare the Culver signature.
Measurements: 7" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. These glasses have never been used and have been in a display cabinet for years. All jewels are present. One of the stars on the back of one of the glasses didn't get filled in with gold in one small area (very small), purely the nature of Mid Century glassware. In short, these glasses are in great vintage condition and have been preserved beautifully. Truly a stunning set.
Please note: Mid Century glassware often has imperfections (i.e. tiny bubbles in the glass, an extra spot of gold paint that made its way to the clear glass, or a tiny bit of residue where an extra bit of glue around the jewels when they were applied, the jewels are perfectly aligned, etc -- purely the nature of vintage glassware).
