A stunning set eight (8) highball glasses by Culver, the "Scintilla" pattern. The pictures don't do the pattern justice....the texture is simply stunning with heavy raised gold bands (that have a floral pattern within the gold bands and the clear sections of the glass are also textured with the same clear floral pattern. Truly a lovely set.
A quick summary about this glassware maker: Culver started the application of the 22-karat gold to their glassware. Fun fact: the super-heated, roll-on process of gold remains a secret today. Condition: Very good vintage condition. There's some extremely minor age that comes purely from time but overall the gold is extremely vibrant. The glass clarity is perfectly clear. Please note: this Glassware pattern has a "seam" that can be seen (many Culver patterns do, it was how the pattern was applied) It's subtle but we like to be thorough when describing our vintage glassware. In short, this set is in good vintage condition with very minor age. It displays beautifully. Cheers.
