A lovely vintage Sterling Silver double jigger by Gorham, still in its original plastic wrap and velvet bag. It wa tough to capture photos as we don't want to open the sealed plastic bag. It appears to be NOS (new old stock). This jigger is the classic double jigger design with one end being slightly larger (as it holds more ounces than the smaller end). Early Mid Century. Truly a stunning bar measure.

A bit about this vintage manufacturer: The Gorham Company was founded by Jabez Gorham. Gorham opened his own business as a jeweler, but the business struggled until he and his craftsmen began making coin silver spoons. Because of the spoons’ popularity, Gorham’s business flourished and became a very popular American silver company from the late 1800's into the 20th century. Attracting some of the world’s best designers and silver artisans, the company’s reputation led them to create one-of-a-kind pieces beyond silverware, including wonderful barware items such as jiggers, cocktail shakers, Julep Cups, and more whimsical items such as a "Vermouth Spike" and enameled stoplight jigger. Still in business today, Gorham is known for making unparalleled, beautifully crafted pieces.

Measurements: Approx 3 1/2" tall

Maker/year: Gorham, early Mid Century

Hallmarks: "Gorham Sterling 339" can be found in the interior of one of the jigger ends (see photo) and the bag is also hallmarked "Gorham Sterling" in white lettering

Condition: Great condition as this piece appears to be NOS (new old stock). The plastic is still sealed. It appears to have a small amount of tarnish the buyer can polish away, if they choose to. The red velvet bag does show signs of age (not from use, but purely from time). Truly a lovely piece.

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery. If purchasing multiple pieces, we will combine shipping to a single box (or as few boxes as possible) and automatically reimburse you all shipping overages paid.

We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage.
