A stunning set of 8 Libbey Atomic "Seville" atomic glasses. This pattern features a boomerang and geometric shaped design of vibrant black and pink email with subtle gold rims and gold starburst through the glasses. The pictures don't do these justice. It was tough to capture how magical the gold Atomic pattern truly is a long with the smaller gold accents. The heavy bases of these glasses add to their stunning factor. The boomerang and geometric pattern has a space age feel to it. Truly the epitome of Mid Century Atomic style.
Maker/pattern/era: Libbey, Seville, 1950s
Hallmarks: each glass has a backward embossed cursive "L" (that faces the correct way when looking down into the glass) - some of the embossed "L's" are slightly off center, common with Mid Century embossed hallmarks.
Condition: Excellent shape. They appear to be NOS (new old stock) in their original box. Please note: the box shows quite a bit of age/wear as cardboard tends to get over the course of decades. Truly a stunning, magical set.
Measurements: Each glass measures 5 1/4" tall x 3 1/2" in diameter
