A bit about this vintage manufacturer: Anchor Hocking started its operations in 1905 in Lancaster, Ohio. Their glassware has a distinguished hallmark of a capital H overlaying the outline of an anchor; although they didn't always hallmark their glassware. During the Great Depression, Anchor Hocking created a revolutionary machine that raised production rates from 1 item per minute to over 30 items per minute. This allowed the company to sell tumblers "two for a nickel" and survive the depression when so many other companies vanished. Their hallmark was a H superimposed over an anchor symbol. Known for many popular glassware patterns including Arrows and Spires and a number of Atomic style patterns, Anchor Hocking is still creating glassware in the U.S. today.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. If these glasses were used, it wasn't much. The pattern is vibrant. The glass clarity is perfectly clear. Please note: vintage glassware often has tiny manufacturing occurrences such as a tiny bubble in the glass, an uneven section of enamel, or a tiny part of the enamel that didn't get fully filled in, etc. Purely the nature of vintage glassware. Here are any occurrences we can see: One of pink glasses has a tiny bit of black trim (that outlines the letters) that has "bled" into the pink. It's very, very subtle. There's also a tiny speck of pink that made it onto the black. And please note: these glasses all have a very, very tiny smooth "bump" on the rim (it's so subtle you might not notice it), purely the nature of how Mid Century glasses such as these were made. In short, these glasses are in very good vintage condition.
