A fun, retro set of 8 "LOVE" glasses by Anchor Hocking, 1970s. These magical glasses feature a footed base (and are heavier in weight) and have a vibrant enameled pattern that consists of "4" panels, one with an L, an O, a V, and an E.
This set includes 8 glasses total. If you're looking for a smaller set, we have other sets of 4 listed.
Maker/Era: Anchor Hocking, 1970s
Hallmarks: None
Condition: Good vintage condition but with several MANUFACTURING occurrences. Here's a full summary:
1) The pattern is vibrant
2) The glass clarity is perfectly clear
3) One of the yellow glasses has an extra spot of paint that made it on the clear glass
4) The other yellow glass has a small dot of black enamel that bled onto the yellow enamel
5) The other red glass has a manufacturing occurrence within the glass on the rim, it's not a chip but trapped inside the glass and also has a small scratch through the enamel (see photo #13)
6) One of the pink glasses has a manufacturing occurrence where the "label" didn't get lined up perfectly even ((see photos #6 and #7)
These are nit-picky things but we like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage glassware. Cheers!
General vintage glassware disclaimer: vintage glassware often has tiny manufacturing occurrences such as a tiny bubble in the glass, an uneven section of enamel, or a tiny part of the enamel that didn't get fully filled in, etc. Purely the nature of vintage glassware.
Measurements: Approx. 5 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" in diameter
