A lovely set of four (4) vintage heavy silver-plated Julep cups by Sheridan Silversmiths Ltd. These vintage Julep cups are simply lovely. They appear to be NOS (new old stock). They are solid/heavy in weight and well-crafted. They feature the traditional "footed" base and tapered design. Truly a stunning set. Hallmarks: Each cup has "Sheridan Taunton Silversmiths Ltd" and "EP Brass" (aka silver-plated over brass) on the bottom along their Lion hallmark symbol.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. They don't appear to have been used. One glass has a tiny manufacturing occurrence. We like to be thorough when it comes to our silver-plated pieces, so here's a full summary:
1) There's mild tarnish
2) One cup's rim has a tiny imperfection on it that looks like it occurred during manufacturing (it's not a "ding" but more of a rippled imperfection, see last three photos, one has our finger pointing at the imperfection)
The silver-plating is extremely vibrant overall. The interiors are pristine. Truly a lovely set that displays beautifully.
