A neat vintage "Poison" flask, 1950s. This pewter flask features a raised, 3-D like skull and crossbones and a banner that says "Poison". It has a screw cap and balances on its flat bottom. It has a magical feel to it. This flask holds 4 ounces. It's a smaller size and would be an ideal purse or hip flask. The pictures don't do this flask justice. It was tough to capture photos without picking up glare or reflections of other items in the room. This unque vintage flask would be the perfect vessel for your favorite whiskey. Cheers.
Condition: Good/fair condition. We're including "fair" due to the signs of age as well as various dings on this flask. We like to be thorough, so here's a full summary:
1) There's general age and what we refer to as "surface wear" to the pewter
2) There are quite a few shallow but noticeable dings on this flask including both sides of the flask as well as the back of the flask as well as along the very bottom of the flask (where the flask can balance on a flat surface)
3) There's mild wear to the interior of the screw cap
The cap screws on well/tightly. In short, this Art Deco Atomic patterned flask is in good/fair vintage condition with noticeable signs of age and quite a few dings. It has a magical feel to it. Truly a lovely antique flask. Please note: this flask is a true antique flask. If you're looking for a "newer" flask that shows less age, we have others from the 60s and 70s. Please see other listings.
**Please Note: we typically do not test our flasks for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage flasks (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our flasks through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular flask. Cheers!
Hallmarks: "English Pewter, Made in England, 4 oz" can be found on the bottom of the flask.
Measurements: Approx. 3 1/2" tall
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery.
****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage or damage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage/damage.
