A magical pewter flask and cups set. The cups "nest" or rest on top of the flask. Such a neat set. Circa 1940s. All pieces are solid, heavier in weight and features a flask with 4 cups. The flask mimics a smaller cocktail shaker and has a screw on cap. The cups have a thicker ribbed rim and are very solid, well-crafted. The photos don't do this set justice. Truly a lovely set that truly has a magical feel to it. Hallmarks: all pieces are hallmarked "Fine British Pewter Made in Sheffield England" along with 3 hallmarks that include a circle with a tringle that has BPC inside of it, a pegasus horse inside a circle, and I & BWG inside a shield shape.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with mild signs of age/wear inline with a set that's80+ years old. The pewter is vibrant overall. There's mild, general surface wear to the flask and one tiny dark "age spot" (the size of a pinhead) on the lower part of the flask. Overall, this antique nesting flask set is in very good vintage condition.
**Please Note: we typically do not test our flasks for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage flasks (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our flasks through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular flask. Cheers!
