A lovely set of six (6) Mid Century "Oil Derrick" rocks glasses by Lotus. These low balls feature a variety of deep black "Oil Derricks". Heavier in weight, these glasses have a solid feel to them. They display beautifully.

Please note: Lotus made these in two versions: these and a version that had a gold accent on the base. These do not have the gold accent.

And we have more of this pattern in two other rocks glasses sizes, if you're interested in a larger set. See other listings.

Maker: Lotus -- many attribute this pattern to Culver. It was actually made by a company called Lotus in the 1960s. Culver did, however, make an opaque black pattern that included gold Oil Rigs. But this pattern in the listing was made by Lotus.

Hallmarks: None (Lotus included a gold foil sticker that was often removed upon purchase).

Measurements: 4 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" diameter -- please note: these glasses came in 3 different rocks glasses sizes (ranging from 2 3/4" tall to 4 1/4" tall), please make certain this listing size is the size you're seeking. Cheers!

Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor, general signs of age/wear. The enamel is vibrant. Good glass clarity (no cloudiness). No chips of any kind. Truly a lovely set.

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. If purchasing multiple pieces, we'll combine shipping to a single box (or as few boxes as possible).

>> We've recently added a cheaper shipping option (USPS Parcel Select Ground) as we know shipping costs have increased quite a bit! Please note that the Ground shipping will take up to twice as long to arrive (5-8 business days) than Priority Mail (2-5 business days). If you need your order quickly, please select Priority. Cheers!

****Important to note pre-purchase: Buyers, please examine all photos carefully as we cannot accept returns due to the fragile nature (the possibility of breakage when being shipped back) of our vintage/antique pieces. Our items are true vintage pieces that might have manufacturers flaws, flaws from age, or imperfections in general from being vintage. We try to explain the condition/description in an accurate and thorough manner but we ask that you please examine all photos carefully and ask all questions before purchasing an item as we are unable to accept returns due to the risk of breakage. Cheers!
