This silver-plated (over solid brass) features a Figural penguin with slightly raised out fins, webbed feet, and a screw on\/off cap at the nose. We're unsure of the maker. It's very similar to Restoration Hardware's 1990s version, but the \"fins\" on this piece are raised out a bit more and the handle is shorter and curves at the tip\/base more. It has its original sticker on the bottom that says \"Solid Brass\" (meaning silver-plated over solid brass) and the sticker appears to be from the 1970s era. This shaker is solid, heavier in weight and a well-crafted piece. We like to be thorough, so here's a full summary:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e1) There's quite a bit of tarnish\/patina to this piece (we have not polished it), which is part of its magic\u003cbr\u003e2) The interior bottom section is perfectly clean; there's very mild tarnish to the interior head area in two spots\u003cbr\u003e3) There's minor what we refer to as surface wear that comes purely from time, past handling, how it might have been stored, etc.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn short, this vintage figural shaker is in good condition but does show mild signs of age as well as patina.
