A lovely solid sterling silver "Only A Thimble Full" etched jigger, circa 1940s. Heavy in weight, it has a nice weighted feel to it. The dimpled texture is stunning and mimics a real life thimble. This jigger also features a "beading" detailing just below the rim. The font is also stunning and an Art Deco style. Truly a magical figural jigger.
Hallmarks: "Sterling" can be found in micro tiny letters just about the "O" in "Only" and also a tiny logo that's even smaller than appears to be a castle or building.
Etching: Only A Thimble Full
Measurements: 2" tall x 1 3/4" in diameter
Condition: Very good vintage condition with very mild signs of age. The sterling silver is vibrant overall but does have mild tarnish (mostly to the interior; we have not polished this piece). There's one tiny "rough' spot that's smaller than a pinhead on the rim of the jigger. It's so small and superficial it was impossible to capture in a photo. In short, this sterling silver jigger is in very good condition with mild signs of age/general wear. Truly a magical figural jigger.
