A lovely vintage silver-plated Towle "Drink Like A Fish" Hip Flask in the shape of a Piranha, circa 1980s. This flask features a screw top opening and cap. The embossed detailing of the fish is simply incredible, from the scales to the fins. Towle started making this flask in the late 1800s up through the late 1980s. The earlier flasks/versions had cork inside the cap and the later versions from the 1980s have a white interior inside the cap (this flask has the white interior inside the cap). Heavy in weight, this flask has a solid feel to it. Truly a gorgeous piece.

Maker: Towle
Hallmarks: "Towle" can be found near the opening/screw cap
Condition: Excellent condition. The silver-plating is vibrant. If this flask was ever used, it wasn't much. There's a tiny amount of tarnish around the opening of the flask. Overall, this flask is in great shape and displays beautifully.
Measurements: just under 6" in length
*Please note: this flask has not been "tested" for carrying liquid contents, so we don't know how this vintage flask's silver-plating will hold up to, for example, sugary liqueurs, etc.
**Please also note: we typically do not test our flasks for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage flasks (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our flasks through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular flask. Cheers!
**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces well to ensure safe delivery. If you buy multiple pieces/sets, we will combine shipping if possible (glassware sets typically ship in their own box to ensure safe arrival) and will reimburse you for any shipping overages.
