A rare and stunning silver-plated Repousse cocktail shaker set by Webster & Sons, early 1900s. No words can express how stunning this set is. The cocktail shaker and coupe glasses feature a variety of Dutch figural scenes. Every detail about pattern is spectacular, from the heavily embossed Repousse scenes (which we tried to capture in the photos) to the intricate detailing of the lid's edges (and the base of the cups edging) to the design/trim along the bottom of the shaker. Both the spout cap and lid have the original cork. These pieces are solid/extremely heavy in weight. The handle of the shaker features an Art Deco design/shape. The coupe glasses feature a "gold wash" to the interior. We've seen this set listed for well over $1,000. Truly a magnificent antique set that displays beautifully.

This set includes: 1 cocktail shaker and 8 coupe glasses

Maker/year: Webster & Sons, early 1900s

Hallmarks: E G W & S" (EG Webster & Sons) can be found the on the bottom of the shaker as well as all cups

Measurements: The cocktail shaker measures approx 10 1/2 tall; the coupe glasses measure 4 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" in diameter

Condition: Good vintage condition with noticeable signs of age and wear. The cork in the lid as well as the cap are in great shape (a rarity). The interior shows very mild age but is clean and in good shape overall. We like to be thorough when it comes to our vintage sets, so here's a full summary of any flaws/signs of age:

1) The lid of this shaker has a shallow but noticeable dent on the top (we tried to capture it in a photo but it doesn't show up in pictures)
2) There's some very superficial, small scratches on the bottom of the shaker
3) One cup has a ding on the top rim (see photo #3)
4) Two of the cups have tiny "rough spots" on the rim (you can feel it when you run your finger over it)
5) One cup has wear to the silver-plating on the top rim
6) Please note: all cups have two small "holes" on the bottom (this was the way the cups were designed.

In short, this rare set is in good condition but does show signs of age/wear. The silver-plating is in great condition overall. The cork in the lid and cap are completely in tact. Truly a stunning set that displays beautifully. We can only upload 10 photos. More photos available upon request.

**Please Note: we typically do not test our shakers for leakage. We offer a variety of vintage shakers (both usable as well as collectible/display only). We are happy to put our shaker through a thorough leakage test (which involves filling it with liquid and rigorously shaking it) -- please message us if you'd like us to test this particular shaker. Cheers!
